▍關於 Soarppy 的開始
我們姊妹經營 幸聞園XWYSiblings 7年以來，一直專注於找尋找歐洲設計適合台灣親子市場的優質品牌，然在尋覓的過程中，常常心裡會想，如果這個商品這邊再調整一下、那邊再修改一下，就更符合台灣消費者的需求了，漸漸的在我們的心中，有個心願－希望能夠逐步的創立屬於自己的設計品牌。
於是，在2019年年中，我們在英國成立了Soarppy品牌，開始了自創品牌方向的發想，我們將持續專注在親子商品的開發，而品牌名稱「Soarppy」結合了飛翔(Soar)和快樂(Happy)，表達無論這個世界的紛擾，希望父母和孩子都能自在且快樂的翱翔在這個世界上。
而創辦人之一 - Wendy 在多年旅居英國的期間，雖然漸漸習慣英國的生活，但仍忘懷不了自己的故鄉-台灣，而在英國及歐洲旅遊一圈後，卻總習慣將台灣的景色做比較，大概太思念台灣，發現台灣的美總是更勝一籌，因此首要開發系列將以我們的故鄉：台灣為出發，希望可以透過我們的創作和想法，讓台灣的元素可以更多元的呈現在商品上，在腦力激盪的火花中，我們發現單純開發商品不足以完整的闡述我們的想法，於是我們決定先從親子繪本開始，而台灣的小小島嶼上，層層疊疊聳立了200多座高山，每座高山各有特色，因此也決定從我們最愛的台灣山脈著手。
然邁入2020年之際，全球疫情肆虐，人心惶惶，雖然在這個當下，所有前景都堪憂，我們還是毅然決然地繼續繪本創作的執行，對我們來說，這個繪本不僅是表達了我們對台灣的愛，也代表我們對全世界的祝福，在2020年年底出版發行，希望能溫暖您我的心！
/ The beginning of Soarppy
We have been running XWYSiblings for 7 years. Our focus has been introducing the best of European brands to the Taiwan market. It is always our dream to build our own brand and that is how “Soarppy” began in 2019. Soarppy – is a combination of glide(Soar) and happiness(Happy) with our hope for parents and children to have the freedom to fly happily anywhere in the world.
One of our co-founders, Wendy, lived in the UK for years. After travelling around the UK and Europe, she believes Taiwan is the most beautiful country in the world. It is her affection of Taiwanese culture, we decided to focus and put in Taiwanese elements into our first collection.
Another important element that we want to express in our first collection is the beauty of Taiwanese mountains. In Taiwan, our home and a small beautiful island, we have more than 200 mountains that are higher than 3 kilometers, which is amazing and unbelievable.
We also found out that only product itself is not enough to express our loves. So we have made an illustration book – Have you ever seen Taiwan Mountains? We published our illustration book at the end of 2020. 2020 is a terrible year for most of us because of the COVID-19. People scared. People worried. People lost their faith. But we still keep going to make our dream come true. This illustration book not only expresses our love for Taiwan, but also our blessings to the world. Hope this book could warm your heart in such a cold winter season.
