龍鳳合歡對杯

合歡琉璃耳對杯系列(2003年良品美器”陶最造型獎”) 以「道家」陰陽相合的思想，將古代的「帶鉤」設計成現代生活用品，耳把紋飾來自明代的玉飾雕刻，「獾」即是狸貓，正反兩支獾，隱喻「合歡」，象徵男女雙方祈求幸福之意。本件作品是將東方元素融入西方生活的一種設計，陶瓷與琉璃結合，質地溫潤、剔透。 合歡在廣義上亦涵蓋彼此之間的相互信賴與合作無間，更有共創雙贏之意。 Badger-handled Paired Cups (winner of the Taiwan Good Craft Award 2003) Based on the yin-yang concept in Daoism, the belt buckle from ancient times is designed into a modern-life implement. The decor on the handle is inspired by the jade carvings of the Ming dynasty. The Chinese character “獾”, the badger, is homophonic to “joy” and “ecstasy”. Two badgers facing each other symbolize the pursuit of happiness between men and women. In this pair of cups, Oriental elements are blended with Western daily life in the design and ceramics are combined with glass to present a warm and limpid texture.
